On behalf of the Controlled Release Society BeNeLux & France Local Chapter’s (CRS BNLF) Early Career Scientist Committee, we invite you to join us for the Early Career Scientist (ECS) Meeting 2022.    

Following our successful virtual meeting last year, we are back and excited to meet you in person! The meeting will be held on April 12th 2022 at Hotel Zuiderduin, the Netherlands, preceding the 16th edition of the European Symposium on Controlled Drug Delivery.  

The 2nd CRS BNLF ECS Meeting gives you the opportunity  to present your research and engage with international peers. Together, we build the drug delivery community of the future. This unique event is organised by us and for us to increase our chances to become the successful scientific leaders of tomorrow! 

The meeting will include keynote lectures by Liesbeth de Lange (Leiden University) and Julien Nicolas (Paris-Sud University), and short presentations by PhD students and postdocs. This year also brings a new presentation format: "Explain your research to your parents". We all have seen during the last two years how important it is to bring science to a non-scientific audience. As emerging scientists, we have a responsibility and we need to boost our communication skills and appropriately explain science to the public.   

Therefore, you will be given the challenge to convey your research in an accessible way in a short video, replacing jargon with simpler terms and building a story out of your lab experiences. The best presentations will be awarded with a prize! Throughout the Meeting, time will also be dedicated to informal and entertaining activities that we hope will boost your curiosity and networking skills.
