Seth-Frerich Fobian is a researcher with a strong background in biochemistry, human physiology, and pharmacology. He earned his BSc, BSc (Hons), and MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Pretoria (South Africa), during which he studied multicellular spheroids and their interactions with gold nanoparticles. He then pursued a PhD at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, focusing on cervical cancer oncogenesis, nanomedicine, and liposomal drug delivery. His research aimed to develop novel strategies for treating cervical cancer. His thesis was conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Timo ten Hagen (Erasmus MC) and Assist. Prof. Dr. Arlene Oei (Amsterdam UMC). Seth is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory for Experimental Oncology and Radiobiology at Amsterdam UMC, where he continues to explore innovative cancer therapies and targeted drug delivery.
