Mathieu Repellin obtained his PhD in Nanoscience and Advanced Technologies in co-tutorship between the University of Verona in Italy and the University of Lyon in France in 2022, in the framework of the INVITE program co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. To go further in the different lines of research conducted during his PhD, Mathieu works now as a post-doctoral researcher at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France under the supervision of Dr. Giovanna Lollo, and supported by the technology transfer acceleration society PULSALYS of Lyon in France. Mathieu is working on nanomedicine for gene delivery applications and aims at correcting underlying aetiology in muscular dystrophies. His work focuses on the development of different types of nanocarriers for gene delivery, from their design to their in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo testing. Following during his PhD the different activities conducted by the Early Career Scientist Committee of the CRS BeNelux & France Local Chapter, he decided to join in 2023 the BNLF local chapter to help, learn and share with researchers from the drug delivery world.
