Emilie Roger is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Angers (France) starting from 2013. She is co-coordinator of NANOMED EMJMD (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree of Nanomedicines for drug delivery) since 2016 and co-supervisor of Master 2 “NanoPharma”. She is working in the MINT laboratory (managed by Pr. Patrick Saulnier), where she is responsible for the research group “Crossing epithelial and endothelial barrier”. Her research interests are mainly related to the design of new drug delivery system; among these, the development of new nano and microparticles of pharmaceutical active compounds without solvent and their physico-chemical, analytical and biological evaluations. Her research is also focused on oral administration, the behavior of lipid nanocapsules and the development of new oral drug delivery system. She is author or coauthor of 24 refereed papers, published in international Journals and categorized in pharmacology and pharmacy, nanoscience and nanotechnology, materials science, medicine, chemistry, physical sciences, biochemistry and molecular biology (h-index 14, about 1000 citations), 3 book chapters and 1 patent.
