CRS EU Local Chapters Annual Meeting

Announcement for CRS EU Local Chapters Meeting in Aachen, Germany in March 2021.

The meeting will be held in a semi-virtual hybrid format. According to current COVID-19 regulations, it will be possible to have up to 50 attendees physically present at the RWTH SuperC Building in Aachen. The rest of the participants will be joining in online via live-streaming and Zoom. Please already block your agenda and SAVE THE DATE !!

Our meeting is special for multiple reasons:

(1) We will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the CRS Germany Local Chapter.

(2) It will be the official inauguration of the CRS BeNeLux & France Local Chapter.

(3) The hybrid format enables multiple leaders in the drug delivery field to participate as invited speakers.

(4) We will have 4 traditional sessions, with 10-15-minute oral presentations based on abstracts submitted by students and postdocs from the different chapters.

(5) We will have 4 non-traditional interactive sessions, focusing on publishing, mentoring, setting up a spin-off company and local chapter leadership.

(6) Abstracts not selected for oral talks will be presented as 1-2-minute poster pitches.

(7) Last but not least, there will be no registration fee and attendance is completely free.

Abstract submission will open soon. Abstracts are to be submitted via this email address. Further instructions and abstract templates will be provided next week. All abstracts will be reviewed by an expert jury. The 20-30 best-rated abstracts will be invited to deliver their talks in Aachen in person. Multiple awards will be presented, both for oral and for poster contributions, including vouchers to attend for the main CRS Virtual Annual Meeting in July 2021.
