Ahmad Alkadri is a Ph.D. student at the Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering in Montpellier, France. Currently, he studies the moisture transport phenomena in materials, particularly in wood. He joined the BNLF chapter of CRS because he is interested in their mission for connecting the industry and academia, which is a very important thing to do and would bring a lot of benefits to the society as a whole.
A curious person by birth, learning has always been his hobby. He firmly believes that, with enough energy, data, and time, we can explain this whole world completely in a rational way. A supporter of open source software, R and Python are his way to go for doing data analysis. Reproducibility is his jam.
In his spare time, he also likes traveling, reading, learning new languages (currently German), playing guitar (mostly blues or swing) and tinkering with his bike and computer.
