2026 PhD Award

The CRS BeNeLux & France Local Chapter is pleased to announce the launch of its PhD Award 2026, recognizing outstanding doctoral research conducted within the BeNeLux and France region. 

Eligibility criteria

 Applicants must meet the following requirements: 

• The PhD thesis must have been developed within the BeNeLux and France region
• The PhD thesis must have been successfully defended between 1 January 2025 and 1 July 2026

Application documents

 Applicants are required to submit the following documents: 

• PhD thesis defense certificate
• PhD jury report
• PDF version of the thesis (in English)
•  Curriculum Vitae (2 pages max)
•  A summary of the key achievements of the thesis, highlighting the relevance, originality, and impact of the results in relation to the current state of the art (2 pages max)

Award conditions 

The award recipient will be notified by mid-September 2026. Attendance at the CRS BNLF 2026 Meeting in Lyon is mandatory for the award recipient, who will be required to present their research during the meeting.
