Annalisa Rosso is a PhD candidate at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France). Her research is focused on the production of nanomaterials for pharmaceutical applications destined for oral administration. During her PhD she is developing lipid nanoparticles and nanocomposite scaffolds for
the local treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, in addition to other side projects. In parallel to her PhD thesis she is also working as teacher assistant at the same university. Annalisa obtained her degree in Pharmacy at the University of Turin (Italy) in 2017, with cum laude predicate. She carried out her master research project at the University of Angers (France), where she developed amphiphilic peptide-drug conjugates for cancer treatment.
Joining the chapter is for Annalisa the opportunity to expand her network, being involved in scientific communities, and to effectively succeed in her future job hunt. She is enthusiastic about exchanging knowledge and sharing experiences with other chapter members, for the communication is the key for a better scientific advancement.
